    Sink Installation in Arizona

ProWorx Restoration installs kitchen and bathroom sinks across the Phoenix metro as a stand-alone service and as part of our broader kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling practice. As a licensed Arizona general contractor (ROC #349454) we handle the full scope — sink, faucet, garbage disposal, shut-off valves, drain lines, and counter cutout if needed.
Phoenix-area water chemistry makes sink material choice more important than most homeowners realize. Municipal water averages 10–18 grains/gallon of hardness, which leaves visible scale on chrome and brushed-nickel finishes and stains lighter sink materials over time. Stainless and composite granite are the two dominant Valley choices because they handle hard water without showing it. Fireclay farmhouse sinks are a beautiful third option but cost more and require coordinated cabinet modification.
We pair sink installations with countertop work, granite installation, and faucet upgrades. Most stand-alone sink replacements are completed in a single visit.

    Our Sink Installation Process

Step 1: shut off water and disconnect existing sink. Step 2: remove old sink, faucet, disposal, and supply lines. Step 3: inspect and replace shut-off valves and supply lines (always recommended on installs of 10+ year old fixtures). Step 4: dry-fit new sink and modify cutout if needed. Step 5: install sink with proper sealant or clips, then faucet, disposal, drain assembly, and supply lines. Step 6: leak-test under full water pressure. Most kitchen sink installs are complete in 2–4 hours; farmhouse sinks may take 6–8 hours.

    Choosing Sinks for Phoenix Water

Stainless steel (18-gauge minimum for kitchen use) is the most popular Phoenix choice — handles hard water, hides scale, and resists impact damage. Composite granite (Blanco, Elkay Quartz) is the second most popular — won't show mineral deposits and offers better sound dampening. Fireclay farmhouse sinks are stunning but require apron-front cabinet modification and run $700–$2,500 for the sink alone. Cast iron with enamel is the most durable but heavy enough to require structural support.

    Plumbing, Hardware & Standards

We replace shut-off valves and braided supply lines on every install of a 10+ year old sink — both fail with age and replacing during install is cheap insurance. Garbage disposals are typically ½ HP for light residential use, ¾ HP for medium use, or 1 HP for serious cooks. We install air-gap fittings where required by local code and integrate dishwasher discharge into the disposal. All work is performed to Maricopa County plumbing code.
